A therapist who gets you
Grace O’Leary, LCSW, MT-BC, CT
With nearly ten years of professional experience and my own life experiences, I’ve grown passionate about helping people live more fully as their true selves. I believe it's important to honor both the light and dark parts of life, and to give space to all parts of who we are. When we learn to feel our emotions, understand ourselves, and accept every piece of our story, we can find real peace.
As a music therapist and licensed clinical social worker, I focus on the whole person and their environment. I don’t think you have to talk about everything out loud to heal; sometimes music, art, or other creative tools speak more clearly. I use a mix of expressive arts, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and humanistic therapy, always adjusting to what feels right in the moment. As a certified thanatologist, I understand how grief and loss come in many forms and impact our whole selves.
I’ve worked in both mental health and medical settings, with people in inpatient and outpatient care.
Outside of work, I love making music, playing video games, and discovering new coffee shops with friends. I don’t take myself too seriously, and you never know what color my hair will be next! I’m also a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.

Counseling
We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to your mental health services. We use evidence-based and effective therapeutic tools tailored to your unique needs and strengths. You get the opportunity to collaborate with your therapist to make a plan that makes sense for you. Counseling approaches may include elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, Humanistic Therapy, Meaning-Centered Therapy, or other approaches as your therapist sees fit. Schedule a consultation to learn more about how counseling can help you achieve your goals.
Music Therapy
Sometimes words can’t express what we need them to. Music therapy allows you to use creativity to process and explore your emotions. Through songwriting, lyric analysis, or guided music and imagery, we can access what you need to heal. Music therapy requires no musical experience and is open to people of all musical skill levels.
Support Group
Perennial Counseling offers a free virtual support group every Saturday. This group is open to individuals who have experienced a significant death in their lives. Sometimes all we need to know is that we aren’t alone in this. Grief is an incredibly lonely burden to carry, so this group is offered as a free resource to the community.
